What do I wear?

For examination we may ask you to undress to underwear but never ask you to remove your underwear. Wear clothing which is easy and quick to remove.

It would help if:

  • Knees- wear shorts or skirt
  • Shoulder- wear vest or strap top
  • Lower limb sports injury- bring trainers
  • Wrist/elbow- wear short sleeves

Parking and Access

There is a gravel drive for parking which accommodates 3/4 cars. There is also parking across the road and in the centre of the village. If you are disabled or in a wheel chair please let us know in advance.

Medical Insurance

We can accept payment from any insurance company assuming they provide an authorisation code and we are BUPA registered.

Cost

This is dependent on treatment and on method of payment. Please contact us for more details.

How long will I be there?

Appointment times vary between 30 and 40 minutes.

Other facilities

There is a comfortable waiting room and we encourage you to arrive a few minutes before your appointment. There is a cloakroom. The clinic is situated in the centre of the village so is easily accessible.

Can I be accompanied?

This is the patient’s choice. You can bring a visitor into the consultation or they are extremely welcome to wait in the waiting-room.Village facilities such as cafe, pub and coffee shops are all in the area.

Is it a problem if I am pregnant?

No, but if you are pregnant or trying for a baby please let the clinician know before your consultation as they may need to adapt their treatment plan.
